EISA Uniform Committee Recommendation
It is the opinion of the EISA uniform committee that the EISA Club has one standardized uniform selected and approved by this organizations board of directors as a recommendation to new teams forming or joining from another organization. This by no means indicates or is intended to say that a team that has joined this organization and is in good standings can not use a different style, name brand or color scheme as long as the uniform design has prior approval by the uniform committee and follows the ESIA by-laws and or the rules or by-laws of the ILLOWA league or Iowa Soccer Association.
The 2008 EISA uniform committee has selected the following minimum standard for uniform pieces and has approved of their use.
Jersey – Good quality Cotton T-shirt / Home- Gold in color – Away - White in color. 8 inch black block style player number applied to center back of Jersey.
Shorts – Black Soccer short.
Socks – Black in color with accent color matching jersey if desired.
Keeper Jersey – Any color that is clearly distinguishable from the teams uniform being used at time of play.
The two internet web sites recommended by the committee for uniform selection(s) to newly formed teams are; www.soccerone.com and www.tricitysports.com.
All teams playing under the EISA organization will have the Clubs authorized crest applied to the left front breast or front center chest of the team’s jerseys. The Keeper’s jersey may have the crest applied in a similar fashion.
Any EISA team member may choose to apply a symbol of their respective High School District to their uniform. Those individual players shall have uniforms consisting of the EISA club approved colors. They may apply their schools symbol to the right outside leg of their shorts. This symbols design, color and size must first be approved by the standing uniform committee at the time the request is made prior to it being used on any uniform or any other piece of equipment.
